The Transverse Universe

Bill Jemas, ancien président du groupe Marvel Comics,  travaille actuellement sur un nouveau projet dans le cadre du groupe 1OK appelé le Transverse Universe, dont l’idée est de proposer des concepts et des personnages libres de droits et donc utilisables par tous. 1OK n’interviendra pas sur le contenu mais tiendra le rôle d’agent et de diffuseur. Les deux premières histoires se trouvent ici-même.Voici aussi qq extraits de Wake the F#CK up !, ma propre participation au projet, sur une idée de Bill avec les couleurs de Cyril Saint-Blancat. The Transverse Universe is former Marvel president Bill Jemas’ newest project and the world’s first open-source comic universe. It consists of characters and stories that are donated to the public domain via a Creative Commons license. Anyone can use these characters and stories, any way they’d like. Everyone is welcome to contribute to this common, open-source comic book universe.

Transverse Universe will not try to control the content, but will manage the network, putting the best content in front of the largest audience. It will also set up systems for selling advertising and artwork, as well as offer media and licensing agency services.

Wake the F#CK up ! is the story I was offered to draw, based on Bill’s idea with colors by Cyril Saint-Blancat with whom I have previously worked on the Firewall 2-parter graphic novel for the French Grand Angle publisher. You can find it  in full colors right here.
