Big in Le Mans

Qq photos prises à l’intérieur de l’Espace Membres de l’ACO (Automobile Club de l’Ouest) situé dans le Village à seulement qq mètres du circuit où se trouvait une exposition en très grand format du making-of de l’ouvrage 24 Heures du Mans Chrono, publié par les éditions Jungle. J’avoue que l’effet est surprenant. Merci à toute l’équipe de l’ACO ! (Ainsi qu’à l’équipe du restaurant, les repas étaient délicieux. Mais je digresse… :0))

A few pics taken inside the Members Only ACO area (Western Automobile Club, in charge of the 24 Hours of Le Mans car race) located in the Village, where they did a, er, huge presentation of the 24 Heures du Mans Chrono book with a cool making-of exhibit of several pages from the rough stage to the color art. Seeing your work in such a way is always surprising and I would like to thank the ACO people for the treat and the invitation as well. (Not to mention the food, but I digress… :0))

Exposition Akira

The Living Daylights

En l’honneur de Katsushiro Otomo, invité du prochain festival de la bande dessinée d’Angoulême, la Galerie Glénat prépare une exposition sur le thème d’Akira, comprenant 40 dessins inédits réalisés par des auteurs divers dont Taniguchi, Liberatore, Juan Gimenez ou Jordi Bernet. Suis heureux de faire partie d’un tel casting et d’avoir le privilège de réaliser une image figurant dans un tel cadre. L’exposition sera ainsi visible à Angoulême et d’ici qq mois, à la Galerie Glénat elle-même.

Katsushiro Otomo will be a special guest at the Angoulême comics festival next month and for the occasion, the French Glénat Gallery is putting together an exhibition comprised of forty original images drawn by a star-studded  cast of international artists such as Taniguchi, Liberatore, Juan Gimenez or Jordi Bernet. I’m delighted to say I was offered to be a part of the event and contribute the piece shown here at the pencil stage. The exhibition will be on display in Angoulême first and then at the Glénat Gallery a few months after that.
