Six frames from a series made for an upcoming advertising film whose subject is the 151 anniversary of the famous Parisian department store, La Samaritaine, recently reopened with an impressive new look.

A Night at the Opera

La première page crayonnée d’une histoire courte qui fera partie d’un collectif sur le groupe Queen. Le segment sur lequel je travaille s’attache à la genèse du titre Bohemian Rhapsody ainsi qu’à l’album A Night at the Opera. Le script est fun, rédigé par E. Marie et l’idée est d’essayer de donner au dessin un aspect un peu léger qui reflète la période dans laquelle s’inscrit l’histoire. Parution prévue pour la fin d’année.

This is the first page of a short story written by E. Marie which is part of an anthology book on Queen (the band! :^)) The chapter I’ve been offered focuses on A Night at the Opera and Bohemian Rhapsody and has a very light and fun tone which I’m trying to mirror on every page. The book will feature a lot of different artists and is slated to go out later this year.

Trois storyboards issus d’une série réalisée pour un film publicitaire Kerastase mettant en scène une partie d’échecs telle qu’on aurait pu la voir dans un épisode classique de Chapeau Melon et Bottes de Cuir.

Three storyboards for an upcoming Kerastase advertising film. Really fun work depicting two girls playing chess in a scene very reminiscent of a classic Avengers episode. Really loved it.
